BIO / Ariella Sanchez
Ariella Sanchez is a Puerto Rican/Salvadoran artist from Bridgeport, CT, whose work is rooted in emotion, resilience, and storytelling. Drawing inspiration from both her cultural background and personal experiences, she uses art as a way to connect, heal, and empower.
Her journey into the art world is personal, shaped by challenges such as epilepsy and surviving domestic violence. These life experiences gave her strength but also helped her find a deeper purpose. Creating art that speaks truth and inspires others.
Coming from a family of artists, she never imagined herself pursuing art professionally. That changed when she realized the endless possibilities that a creative life could offer. Ariella dove into studying art across all mediums, from fashion to sculpture and everything in between. The more she learned, the more she fell in love with the process of creating.
In 2023, she made the life-changing decision to leave her job in financing, sell her home, and invest in her future as a full-time artist. She purchased photography equipment and opened her first art studio. Since then, she has been building her portfolio and continuing her education in fine arts, with the goal of eventually earning her master’s degree.
